“it is the only religion which doesn’t go to war.
we have friends in every country on earth and we all think alike---we have the true understanding of the bible.
we are the true religion which god approves………..” says the jw.. to put jws in the context of the question of true religion, we first have to get an insight into how a jw thinks and these points above are the selected criteria chosen by jws to judge themselves.

yes, that’s what the multi billion dollar corporation, watchtower, claimed they did in the 2019 convention.. devastating mudslides in rural myanmar left thousands of people cut off from food, water and medicine, many of them witnesses.. watchtowers solution?
fly in a helicopter of medics and engineers?

buh-bye!
hi friends ,.
i just thought i should share with you my entry into the o.b.e.
club on this 5th of july.not everybody makes it and to tell you the truth ,i never thought i would.
Orgasmic Bodily Ejection?
i have a few and built two 80% lowers.
just got a larue two stage trigger.
i can get 2moa out of it at 100 yards with a nikon 223 scope.
I used to enjoy shooting with a friend of mine. We would go north of Seattle about an hour or so, then follow logging roads for a bit until we were out in the sticks.
Forty-plus years ago you could buy a "brick" (500 rounds) of .22 LR for $10. I am cheap AND I didn't have "deep pockets," so 22LR was my preference. My friend was less financially conservative (cheap) and would spend like a drunk sailor on guns n' ammo. We shot the hell out of anything we found, but we didn't kill things and we didn't shoot up any logging equipment that was resting during the sabbath. We weren't stupid. We did have lots of fun and tested lots of popular misconceptions about what a bullet could and could not do, sort of like "Mythbusters."
I stopped shooting after I lost the central vision in my "master eye" as a result of a non-contagious eye disease I acquired. Bummer man, but shit happens, y'know?
there is so much wrong with the newly released october, 2019 but that's not unusual.
what stands out is there statement claiming that survival through armageddon depends on loyalty to those 'taking the lead'.
since they claim there will be a point during the gt that they (the gb) won't be physically around, jws must still be loyal to jw leaders.. whats interesting in this article is that they make it clear that they, the governing body are going to take part, from heaven, in the war of armageddon.
WOW, what a load!
I'm an atheist now, but when I was PIMI, I was pretty "deeply dipped." I would say that I was in the top 99.99% of Watchtower loyalists back then; so I know the drill.
It is stunning that "survival" depends,
but on loyalty to a small group of imperfect confused old fruitbag self-proclaimed "JW leaders."
it's a CULT!
sorry - but can anyone substantiate some truth to this article or is it all a mess?.

Yes, what an amazingly huge steaming pile of crap that is!
Obviously a JW is masquerading as an apostate in an attempt to discredit us.
Mentally diseased JWs, y'know!
i have been having issues with coons.
they are eating my cat food and being a pain in the ass.
i have live trapped some but these last few trip the live trap and do not get trapped then steal the bait.
What if you just took in your cat food just before dark and emptied any outdoor water bowls? There is no reason to be inhumanely trapping and killing these animals, which trace their existence on this earth back to before there were dogs, and it is likely they will continue to successfully adapt to their environment after homo sapiens is gone.
I'm not saying you should share your house with them; I am saying that you can make your outdoor area less of a "free dinner" buffet and thereby encourage them to go back to the woods they belong in.
so as a child i was scared to death of the demons.
in fact you may remember the wt and awake loved to put stories of these attacks in the articles.
as a youth i loved to read books.
It has been said that there is The Known, The Known Unknown, and The Unknown Unknown.
There is also The Imaginary, which, in fairness, I guess could be part of The Unknown Unknown, except that there is not a single shred of objective evidence that demons exist. We have the testimony of the insane and people who can't seem to understand that they may not be objectice when they "figure out" what happened to them.
I don't think Hollywood is doing anyone a service by encouraging beliefs in a spiritual realm, but humans have always enjoyed the adrenaline jolt of "safe fear."
interesting interview.
https://www.npr.org/programs/fresh-air/.
I am very often surprised by the inaccurate statements made by people who once were Jehovah's Witnesses.
Amber was a "missionary" in China, so I would expect her to be well-versed in Watchtower doctrine, yet she says that JWs believe that after Armageddon only faithful JWs will be resurrected. This is not correcy; JWs are taught that EVERYONE will be resurrected after Armageddon so they could be given a fair chance to come to an accurate knowledge of the truth.
I don't think I'm being unfair: Amber is articulate and seems to be comfortable being interviewed. So how could she miss a very basic doctrinal point?
I've got her book and look forward to reading it, but I yearn for the next Barbara Grizzuti Harrison ("Visions of Glory: A History and a Memory of Jehovah's Witnesses" - 1978).
